Symalit® PVDF 1000
Symalit® 1000 PVDF and 1000 HP PVDF
Symalit 1000 PVDF is a highly crystalline unreinforced fluoropolymer combining good mechanical, thermal and electrical properties with excellent chemical resistance. It also shows good resistance to high-energy radiation (considerably better than other fluoropolymers).
In addition, the composition of the raw material used for the production of Symalit 1000 PVDF stock shapes complies with the regulations of the European Union (Directive 2002/72/EC, as amended) and the United States of America (FDA) for plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs.

Symalit®1020 PVDF
Symalit 1020 PVDF is an orange colored material that was specifically designed to produce welding rods. Experienced welders know that it can be very difficult to see a contrast when welding natural PVDF sheets with natural PVDF rods. Quadrant's orange colored 1020 PVDF welding rod gives an excellent contrast to the 1000 PVDF sheets and thus makes it easier, safer and more efficient to weld. The welding characteristics of 1020 PVDF are the same as for 1000 PVDF.
Symalit® ESd PVDF
Symalit® ESd PVDF is a grade with a surface resistivity of < 10^6 Ohm. Thus it is appropriate for the construction of equipment that has to be in accordance with the ATEX directive 94/9/EC.
